How much is shipping? 

For orders within Canada and to the US, flat rate shipping rates are provided at checkout.

*Flat rate shipping does not apply to wholesale and corporate orders

Where do your boxes ship from?

All My Weekend is Booked products are shipped via Fedex, UPS and/or Canpar from Windsor, Ontario, Canada.

 

Where do you ship?

We currently ship to Canada and the US via Fedex, Canpar and UPS.

 

 

How long does it take to ship an order?

*Shipping time does not include processing time.

Shipping estimates are provided at checkout.

 

If you need an order by a specific date, please contact us prior to ordering.

 

I'm from the US. Will I have to pay customs fees?

If you are placing an order from anywhere except Canada, there is a possibility you will have to pay customs fees/tariffs on your box. You, the buyer, are responsible for paying these costs.

 

How long will it take for my order to be processed?

Current order processing time is 1-4 business days.

 

I need my box ASAP. Can you do rush orders?

We’ve all been there. Your bestie’s birthday is in one month, then two weeks, then, all of a sudden ONLY ONE WEEK AWAY?! Send a note to info@myweekendisbooked.com and we’ll work with you to get your gift shipped ASAP.

I included the wrong shipping address at checkout, and the order has already been shipped. What can I do?

It is the buyer's responsibility to include correct shipping information at checkout. Unfortunately, once an order has been shipped it is out of our hands.


Returns:

In the event your order is damaged during shipping, please contact us at info@myweekendisbooked.com within 30 days of purchase and will make things right! Refunds and exchanges are only offered on damaged or defective products. 

I received a damaged item. What do I do?

We package our items very carefully to ensure that your gift will arrive safely. Unfortunately, there is still the possibility that items will get damaged in shipping. Please take a picture of your damaged item and email it to info@myweekendisbooked.com and we will make every effort to make things right!

How long will it take for my order to be processed?

We are fulfilling orders as fast as we can. Fulfillment is generally 1-4 business days.

Is your company eco-friendly?

From our clean-burning soy candles in recyclable glass jars, to the biodegradable peanuts that we use for packing, we make every effort to choose environmentally-friendly options when possible.

 

I’ve purchased an item as a gift. How can I ensure that the recipient does not see the receipt?

No worries. We don’t package any of our gift boxes or candles with the receipt.

 

Boxes

I’m sending a box as a gift. Can I include a special note to the recipient?

Of course! We can include a handwritten note with the gift box at no additional charge. Send the note that you would like include, along with the order note to info@myweekendisbooked.com.

 

Do you make custom boxes?

Absolutely! We’d love to work with you to create the box of your dreams. Shoot us a note at info@myweekendisbooked.com.

 

Does the custom box have to be book-themed?

Although we are lit lovers, we can work with you on creating any type of box, literary or not.

 

Do you create corporate gifts?

Candles

What’s so special about MWB candles anyway?

MWB candles are more than just a pretty face. Sure, the packaging is pretty fabulous (if we do say so ourselves), but it’s what’s inside the candle that really matters. Or, more appropriately, what’s not inside! We don't use synthetic fragrances in any of our candles. All of our candles are scented with 100% natural plant-derived fragrance oils or essential oils. In addition to our natural scents, all of our candles are made with 100% soy wax grown and processed in the USA. You won’t find any petroleum by-products in our candles. 

 

How long do your candles burn?

If the instructions for burning are followed properly, 40-50+ hours! But we don’t recommend that you burn it all in one sitting. You shouldn’t burn an 8oz candle for longer than a couple of hours at a time.

 

What are the best practices for safely burning one of your candles?

Before lighting your candle, trim the wick to ¼”. Always keep the candle within sight, and away from kids, pets and flammable items and never leave it unattended (we always set a reminder alarm on our phones when we light a candle so that we don’t forget about it.). When you light your candle for the first time, make sure that you burn the candle long enough for the melt pool to reach the edge of the candle, or your candle could tunnel; this can take up to two hours. Stop burning your candle when only ½" of wax remains in the jar.

Why are there oil droplets on my candle?

Due to the nature of soy wax, some candles may have oil droplets on the surface. Wipe the top of the candle to absorb the oil, and the candle can be used as usual.
